I'm Around

Anyone who knows me or my amazing wife know the drill. We may or may not return your phone call because we are always on the run - Bey & Jay aint the only ones -  we are always somewhere do something. We live a pretty cool life and definitely desire to have children but before we take on that lifetime commitment we give it all we have and move around ALOT.

We just returned from celebrating our one year anniversary in San Juan, Puerto Rico and to say it was awesome would be an understatement. There are a few things  I suggest so listen up:

BALLING ON A BUDGET: Don't go for the most expensive spot to live for the week. Now make no mistake - Im not suggesting any roach motels etc- just a more affordable spot might just work. If you pay attention to those "ballers" we see online "side eye"  you will think one needs to stay at the Ritz Carlton, amazing spot, but it's not always required.   Places like little boutique hotels, Hyatt Houses and more can do the trick and if you are anything like us? We are sightseeing like no other and really don't spend a lot of time in the room other than the usual things newlyweds do.

*Clears Throat* But thats my business.

Back to the tips!!!

ZOOM: ALWAYS! Budget in for a rental car! This is something that I suggest everyone add to their budget along with lodging, food, shopping because there is a HUGE world out there to see and experience. All you need are great spots like National Car Rental, Hertz and many more to handle your needs. I suggest renting a jeep where you can take the top off and really get the full experience of being on the road.  Get those keys, google awesome spots to see and get moving.

GOOD FOOD/GOOD TIMES: You don't have to break the bank to eat good food and being in San Juan at least twice I can testify that there are LOADS of food spots to handle up on your food needs. Listen, these folks know how to DRANK and EAT. The Bacardi is a friend of mine and Im here to tell you that it is pure in Puerto Rico.  We actually took advantage of little food stands on the side of the road near Luquillo Beach in Puerto Rico. Those people can BURN when it comes to good food and they don't take debit/credit cards and cell phone service is not the strongest.

PERFECTION!!

We hit the beach, jumped some waves, got hungry and jumped in our car with no shoes and wearing out swim gear and got something to eat. I actually drove around the area with no shirt on and it was awesome. No Cops! Nothing.

THE WATER IS THERE FOR A REASON: One of my favorite workout options is -wait for it - Wave Jumping!!! Yes! *Fist Pump*  My wife got me hooked on the jumping the waves movement and because she is fine and fit I knew she was telling the truth. You get out in the water, squat a bit and wait on the waves to hit and you jump. Simple!!

Best feeling ever and by the time you get home you will notice how toned your legs and abs feel.

Check out some amazing images of our amazing adventure.
