Italian Wedding Soup Recipe



Today was hectic and that is ALWAYS cause for a good home cooked meal in my house. I took the proper exit once I hit the freeway and hit up my local market. I decided on the ever awesome Italian Wedding Soup which is perfect for a cold night in the city and with a slice or *coughs* slices of cheese bread.




But Anyhow, check out this quick and easy recipe and be sure to take away or add your bits to it.

INGREDIENTS:
1 lb turkey meat
1 lb Italian Sausage *Mild or Hot*
1 box of sodium free chicken broth *Vegetable is good as well*
Elephant garlic
Rosemary
Onion
Red, Green & Yellow Bell Peppers
Olive Oil
Unsalted Butter
Orzo Pasta

INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Mix turkey n sausage meat together to form meatballs, cook and set aside.
2. Saute onion, bell peppers and garlic in butter
3. Add chicken broth.
4. Bring to a boil and add orzo pasta until pasta is al-dente.
5. Add meatballs & rosemary
6. Lower heat and simmer until desired.
7. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
