Yep!! That's what I said for years and a day but thankfully my amazing wife changed my mind. See the way I remember it is my great aunt making it the regular way and not really like it. I won't tarnish her memory saying it wasn't good, I will just say, she meant well.
I was instructed to add various items to the bowl and thank God I obliged. Amazing things such as: Strawberries, Trailmix, Quinoa, Chia Seeds, Raisins, Brown Sugar and much more have turned me into a lean mean oatmeal loving machine. I also made the decision to purchase steel cut oats which can take a bit longer to cook but are a key essential item to keeping me healthy.
TOTALLY HOOKED!!!!
